Trip #1: Launching PCC

Road trip to Seattle? Yes, please.

We opened in all 9 PCC Natural Markets this month and, knowing they needed handmade hat rack displays, we jumped at the chance to personally deliver their first round of inventory.

Now the largest natural food and retail co-operative in the United States, PCC started back in 1953 with just 15 families who were looking for a sense of community built around their commitment to health.  At Yellow 108, that’s exactly what we’re looking for in the stores we sell at: companies who believe in having positive impacts on their community.

We’re all influential and we can all make a difference.

Our favorite thing about PCC – and what makes us so happy to be a part of their community – is that moms and daughters work next to each other, co-workers become roommates, and loyal customers become fast friends known by name.  PCC is the quintessential co-op with its roots firmly planted in the communities they serve.

Our whole trip took about ten days, stopping around Puget Sound and the Pacific Northwest, spreading Yellow Love to Seattle.  Come see the Yellow 108 handmade hat rack in person and pick your winter cap.

Thanks for a great trip, Seattle!  Can’t wait to see you again.
