Sustainable Inside and Out!

  This fall, we kicked off the first promotional tour for Yellow 108 in a biodiesel sprinter named Sunshine. We took off from Los Angeles and traveled to Minneapolis and Chicago for a launch party and then headed back west, stopping in Lincoln, Omaha, Denver, Boulder, Salt Lake City, and Lake Tahoe, before heading down the California coast. 

  Being on the road requires lots of energy and we know that eating right helps us maintain the positive energy our business is built on. Needless to say, living in a van means not having access to our normally consumed foods (raw, vegetarian/vegan, gluten free, life-giving!) We were pleasantly surprised, however, to find little gems in each place we stopped. Most days, we were able to drink some sort of fresh-squeezed juice or homemade kombucha in the morning, enjoy a fresh salad for lunch and eat sustainably harvested seafood with just-picked produce from local farms for dinner.

When we didn't have time to stop for a full meal, we refueled throughout the day with Guayaki Yerba Mate, nuts/seeds/goji berries, Fearless chocolate, olives, fruit, veggies and Vitacoco coconut water. Traveling should never compromise your health. Instead, it should give you a chance to support places that are working with local farmers, serving fresh and live foods, and spreading the love through their very important work.
